Distinctions between ‘moderate’ and ‘radical’ Muslims have become standard staple of everyday discourse, feeding the ghost of Islamophobia and placing a heavy, unfair onus on Muslims to constantly declare their loyalty to their ‘host’ societies.
In the last few years, the Chinese Communist Party has carried out systematic killing, torture and destruction of villages by doing so they have killed hundreds of people from all ages.
We would like to alert to the international community and United Nations on what is happening to the Uygur people in the East Turkistan. We would also like to bring the attention that this inhumane treatment is carried out against other minorities like Christians, Kazakh or Kyrgyz.
We urge the Human Rights Council to take immediate actions against these atrocities committed by the Chinese Communist Party.
